Hello everyone! My name is Blake Peugh, and this will be my eighth year working as the NET here at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School. I am from the United States but call Hong Kong home. I have loved my time so far at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School and am excited to continue helping our students develop their passion for English.

This year I will oversee the English programme for all P.1, P.2 and P.3 students. In addition, I will be teaching P.1 and P.3 classes. Our English programme takes a holistic approach to teaching that includes many methods such as reading, writing, speaking and listening activities to help students learn English in a more exciting and interactive environment.

If you have any questions, I am always available to discuss the programme and your child’s progress with you. I am looking forward to another successful year for our students!

Hello everyone! I’m Nisa, and I’m thrilled to kick off my first year as the NET here at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School.

I’ll be teaching the Space Town program to P.1 and P.2 students. I have a strong passion for teaching English to young learners. My goal is to make each lesson both enjoyable and interactive.

A little about me: I love traveling and sharing my adventures with my students. In my free time, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes from different cultures (though I suspect some of my students might be better chefs than I am! 😉).

I can’t wait to meet all my students and create wonderful memories together!

Hello everyone! My name is Joseph and I will be joining the English team here at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School as a Chatteris Native Speaking English Tutor in line with the school’s partnership with Chatteris Educational Foundation. I come from Brighton, a small city on the south coast of the UK, and I am excited to be here in Hong Kong and to have the opportunity to work with the fantastic team at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School.

I look forward to working with the English team to help enhance students’ English language skills and learning experience as well as meeting all members of the school community this year. If you see me around the school, please feel free to come over and say hello!

Mr Joseph

Hello everyone! My name is Maia and I am so delighted to be a part of the English teaching
team here at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School. I am here as a Chatteris Native
Speaking English Tutor in line with the school’s partnership with Chatteris Educational
Foundation.
Throughout my time here, I will be teaching guided reading classes to P5, and undergoing
speaking lessons for P6, in time for their secondary school interviews.
My goal here at Buddhist Chan Wing Kan Memorial School is to deepen and develop
students’ proficiency in English, whilst ensuring lessons I teach are interactive, engaging and
taught with care!
I have a real passion for student wellbeing and want every student to feel like my classes are
a safe space to build confidence and thrive through reading and speaking English.
I am so happy to be a part of this wonderful team and cannot wait to make amazing
memories.
